The Offerings
Phoenix Farm is an evolving collaborative farm entity that centers indigenous values, historical context, native plants and edibles, a homestead garden, a market garden, and learning spaces that include a myriad of workshops and gatherings to support people's ever deepening connection to themselves, the Earth, our society, and each other.
The FOOD + MEdicinesThrough a homestead garden for self sustenance, a market garden to share an abundance of food with the larger community, and 16acres dedicated to native foods and medicines via agroforestry corridors, Phoenix Farm grows the GOOD STUFF to nourish people and planet- free of toxic chemicals, inviting to pollinators, and safe for our non-human neighbors, and our LivingWorld. |
The People + ANCESTORS Phoenix Farm aims to be trauma informed, and create safer space for all people, with our spectrum of intersecting identities. With a foundational and evolving understanding of the colonized history of this land, of the First Nations' People, of our own immigrant-settler family, and a deep heart yearning for contributing to the repair of our world, we are working and dreaming towards food and land justice, and a community led collaborative farm model. |
The Gatherings Through a myriad of gatherings including DIY workshops, native plant and environmental awareness classes, eco-art workshops, and seasonal observances, Phoenix Farm honors the seasons' harvests, supports folx in building their knowledge and awareness of the natural world, and aims to support people's healing in right relationship with the Land, Time, themselves, and one another. |
We aim to nurture a parcel of southcentral PA for the enhancement of the natural world, food resources for
humans and non-humans, and to be a collaborative space of restoration, learning, and healing. |
